Where We’ve Been: An Overview of Recent Projects

It’s no secret that we’ve been on a little bit of a blog hiatus… BUT we’re finally back and we couldn’t be more excited! What better way to kick off our blog grind than sharing some recent projects we feel so lucky to have been apart of:

Ground Up

When you peruse the website, you might recognize some familiar faces and places! We’ve actually worked with Gabe and Dillon before on The Institute of Soil & Soul, the farm that is the foundation (physically) of Group Up — a co working space that sets out to reimagine the traditional notions of what it looks like to work in an office. With remote work more popular than ever before (and those who partake sometimes feeling lonely and uninspired by their surroundings *trust me, we get you*), Ground Up allows members to work alongside each other and among nature where they feel the most creative and productive.

Gabe and Dillon had already nailed down this rare ~and ingenious~ business idea when they approached us, but we stepped in to solidify the brand’s strategy, create a visual identity and craft Ground Up’s website. Everything from font choices, logos, mockups, patterns, website assets and other brand symbols — we designed and refined to activate the rustic, natural, authentic, welcoming and sustainable vibe the founders envisioned.

Now all we’re wondering is what project are they going to come to us with next!?

Kelly Cole

Another brand strategy x visual identity x website design client, Kelly Cole’s brand Time Under Tension was already well established and accessible to the world — but she felt it was time for a refresh. T/T is built for active young professionals (also pregnant women and mothers) as a low-impact training style that combines pilates inspired movements, strength training and cardio, igniting the ultimate mind-body connection.

On the brand strategy side, in a holistic sense, we helped Kelly clarify T/T’s brand positioning, messaging, product offerings and tone identity. Then, we worked to align this ideology with visual appeal like a logo uplevel, fresh + modern color palette, typography, photography / art direction and brand applications / mockups. Kelly can now promote her services as the same empowering, effortless, technical, intentional nature she embodies both in her training sessions and in life.

Erin Mathew

Erin Mathew Coaching strives to support and guide women on their motherhood journey, helping them reconnect with themselves while straying from patterns of self-doubt and comparison. A mom of three boys herself, Erin fully understands the beautiful chaos of raising a family and hopes to help others manage their energy effectively and reclaim their power, as she once did (and is still doing), through the power of human design.

Our team at Isla Luna worked to define her brand strategy, visual identity as well as a website design (that is almost ready to be released to the public!) — infusing simplistic, natural, warm, approachable and celestial elements at every step of the way. The finishing touches will be illuminating this perfect combination between modern motherhood, nurturing wisdom and raw-trusted femininity.

Amorélla Events

Founded by Jennifer Tello, Amorélla Events is a luxury wedding planner grounded in innovation, personalization and a deep dedication to couples, ensuring their day is a flawless representation of not only the pair’s love, but the ones nearest and dearest to them as well.

We channeled Jennifer’s upbringing centered around her parent’s deep commitment and friendship, throughout the entire process: starting with brand strategy, to visual direction, website design, social feed mockups and a template PDF to share with prospective clients. We ultimately landed on a more summery yet still chic color palette, simple + modern typography and some playful brand elements, giving clients a glimpse at what’s behind the brand (for Jennifer) and what’s in store (for them). At its core, Amorélla is timeless, vibrant, approachable, worldly, sophisticated, passionate and bold.

If you like what you see and you’re a brand in need of strategy, visual identity, website design or any of our other offerings, we are booking for Q3 and beyond! Fill out this form or send us a DM on Instagram — we’d love to work with you
